As an artist living in Taos, New Mexico, I appreciate the beauty, solitude and vibrant artist community here.
I focus mainly on printmaking and ceramic sculpture. One of the most interesting aspects of printmaking is the opportunity to experiment with the process. My work is abstract and focuses on the illusion of space.
I often imagine that my prints are three dimensional because I began my art career as a sculptor. I have worked in wood, stone and wax, but clay has always seemed to be the most versatile. I am currently experimenting with my unique surface treatment for ceramic sculpture.
The following images represent several bodies of work. Since I like to play with materials, changing my work from time to time is more interesting to me.
